Life rewinds…… (Part I)

You laugh. I laugh. You cry. I cry. You jump off a cliff. I say “do a flip”. This is a story of two besties Sara and Sia who were each other’s second self.

They were in their early teens .They were like mirrors having same choices, thoughts and hobbies. They shared the same  future goals of becoming a doctor. Together they had won many prizes in singing duets.

The only difference between them was that, Sara was good in studies, confident and cheerful. She was very popular among students and teachers. But in the contrast Sia was shy and introvert as a result she didn’t score as well as Sara. But this difference never entered between their friendship. Sara  helped Sia durning the classes. Sia always emotionally supported Sara like a good sister. Due to her shyness, she had only one understanding, supporting and motivating friend Sara. Her shyness was her only weakness which was obstructing her to talk or mingle with other students.

Other girls of the class were jealous because of their strong bond .They never missed a chance to put, Sara against Sia.  They always tried to put Sia down, decreaseing her self confidence. They always told her she would never succeed as Sara was her backbone. She is worthless without her. As a result this became another reason of avoiding others, in due course of time. All the teachers praised Sara for her academic performance, but Sia got none. This resulted losing her self confidence. Both of them had won many prizes in singing duets but there also Sia was overshadowed by Sara’s popularity. She had started believing that she can never improve in studies and accomplish  her aim of becoming a doctor.

Life never remains the same it keeps on changing”. An unexpected episode cropped up in both of their lives.

One day in history class all the students were supposed to prepare a PowerPoint presentation in pairs . As it was  obvious , Sara and Sia made their pair. They started preparing for the presentation. They searched the content and made PowerPoint slides. Next important task was to decide, who will present which slide. Sia out of her bashfulness told  ‘I am not comfortable in speaking in front of the whole class. It’s better you  present  the whole presentation’.

Sara out of disagreement replied ‘ both of us should prepare the whole slide. In case if anyone misses any point, the other can complete it’. Both of them rehearsed for the presentation at their home.

When the night comes or the sky turns gray ,
The sky showers us to grow and stay ,
alive and happy in every way ,
To God we sway , that every sun ray ,
Would shine again and clear the clouds away ,
So you could see to  never get astray ,
Divinity gets us to pay ,
attention that everything we get  through ,
has a silver lining every  night
and   day …
You say good morning ,
“Tommorow is another day ” for a melody to  play …
